You’ve Been Deleted!

There’s an altercation, either online, in person or both and you decide it’s over. You’re just a few clicks away from deleting that person from your life. It’s fun, safe and easy!

  • Delete their blog from your bookmarks/feed reader (it was way too whiny anyway)
  • Delete their photos from your life by deleting them from your contacts on Webshots or Flickr (they are ugly and their photos were always blurry)
  • Delete them from your friend’s list on MySpace, Facebook and whatever else (they weren’t your real friend anyway)
  • Delete them from your IM list (always “online” but never there)
  • Delete them from your address book (they never passed on your email forwards — jerks!)
  • Delete them from your cell phone (the ultimate insult! but they always annoyed you with their drunken texts)

And that’s it! You’re done. Nothing more to worry about. They have been removed from your life. And thanks to the non confrontational, stoic nature of folks in San Francisco, if you run into them in real life, there’s no need to even acknowledge their presence.

Now didn’t that feel good?
